Things going on during the LA Design Festival, which is comprised of a series of tours, gallery and studio opening, and exhibitions before and after the Dwell on Design expo.
Dwell On Design expo is coming up this weekend in sunny Los Angeles. I won’t be attending this year but anybody who is familiar with Dwell Magazine will know that the company is a huge contributor to the design world and that this expo has increasingly become an important venue for showcasing innovative designs that lead change. Modenus recommends three booths in particular here:
Interesting piece from new(ish) blog Cultivate, owned and managed by Williams Sonoma and reporting on trends in kitchen design and equipment. I have started reading a lot more of their stuff lately, definitely worth a look.
This is a truly gorgeous apartment (and it had better be for $23 million) in NYC. It totally screams Sex and the City. The only way to do Manhattan!
This is so disappointing! I love this show! I realize that every reality television show is heavily produced to an extent, but didn’t realize that HGTV was literally inventing storylines. Hopefully this bad publicity will spur a change with House Hunters. Buying and renovating homes is exciting enough as it is, it doesn’t need to be scripted!
